The public library now allows up to 100 items on loan per patron. Many items including: magazines, comic books, cook books, series books, read-along kits, videos, DVDs and bilingual books make wonderful family learning activities.
Book Mobile
The San Jose Public Library's Book Mobile is out of service this year due to budget cuts, but the San Jose Public Library has dozens of branch libraries on the bus lines. Please visit our two newly built and renovated branches on Tully Road and Aborn Road.
Tumble Book Library
Tumble Books (TBL) are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. Tumble Books are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. TBL also includes National Geographic videos and games.
