Recognition Programs
Caught Ya's
As a part of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) program, Quimby Oak students are recognized with a “Caught Ya” for displaying positive behaviors in school. During in-person learning, Quimby Oak students demonstrating these types behavior are recognized by staff:
- Leadership
- Open Minded
- Be Respectful
- Own Your Choices
- Studious
During Distance Learning...
Caught Ya’s can be submitted by staff and parents through a Google Form. The behaviors that staff look for are:
- Taking Care of Yourself
- Taking Care of Others
- Taking Care of Business

Honor Society
Honor Society students are rewarded for their outstanding efforts all four quarters with assemblies and certificates. Those students who maintain a 3.5 grade point average for the first three quarters and fourth quarter progress report will also be eligible for a trip to Santa Cruz in June. In order to be a member of the Honor Society, students must:
- have at least a 3.5 GPA,
- have no “C-’s’”, no “D’s”, no “F’s” on their report card, and
- have no more than ONE “C” per quarter.
