Schedules
LSI students follow Evergreen School District's academic calendar and the same school day hours as Quimby Oak Middle School. School begins at 7:45am and dismissal is at 2:00pm.
Our school day minutes at LSI are spread out in a very different way than a traditional Quimby class schedule. All of LSI's core content classes and Lighthouse leadership elective are taught in three large instructional blocks. Our blocks are 66 minutes long allowing our students to efficiently work with as much time possible. Students will have a traditional period 1 and 2. During this time, students will take PE and have the option of participating in Concert or Symphonic Band. All LSI students will share common break and lunch with the entire Quimby student body.
All LSI students will have the opportunity to participate in Quimby Oak Middle School's dynamic sports program. We encourage our students to engage and try out for our sports teams! Likewise, clubs, students organizations, after school activities, and school dances/celebrations are for all students to participate in.
