Traffic Safety Reminders:
Drop off starting at 8:30 a.m. when there is yard supervision and to avoid traffic congestion U-Turns are not allowed during drop off and pick up near the school which includes Remington Way, Centerwood Way, Adamswood Way, Bimber Ct. and Padilla Way. Driving law regarding U-turns: According to California Vehicle Code Section 22103, states it is illegal to make a U-turn in a residential district when another vehicle is approaching from either direction within 200 feet except at an intersection controlled by a traffic control device. No U-Turns should be made during drop off or pick up time with crowded cars in the street. DO NOT park in the red zone on the corner of Remington Way and Centerwood Way. It creates a blind spot for those who are attempting to make a right turn DO NOT pick up or drop off students in the middle of the street. This is extremely dangerous for our children DO NOT park in the loading zone and wait for your children at the gate. You must stay in your car and pull ahead when necessary. DO NOT block the driveways of homes near the school. The San Jose Police Department has contacted our school regarding reported traffic concerns and will be sending an officer out to monitor drivers.
