Attendance Matters

We understand that distance learning (over electronic devices) comes with a new set of academic challenges. With that said, attending school remotely is still very important and valuable. A missed day of distance learning is a lost opportunity to learn something new, to maintain academic skills and to connect with classmates and teachers. You can help your child maintain good online attendance by:

• Making sure your child gets at least 8 hours of sleep per night.
• Keeping a schedule. Make sure your child is fed and dressed prior to starting the school day. Review your child's school schedule and assignments daily.
• Checking your child's school work regularly.
• Providing a space for your child to do work.
• Emailing your child's teacher with any questions or concerns.
• Being supportive.
