It is time for Laurelwood's Spelling Bee! All students in Grades 4-6 will take the written spelling bee test in their classes on Monday, December 16, 2019. Top finalists from the written bee will advance to the oral spelling bee on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 5:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Permission slips will be sent home with qualifying students.

The winner qualifies for the Bay Area Regional Written Semifinal Spelling Bee sponsored by KPIX-Television in mid-February. In addition, this experience will prepare students to participate in the district Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 14th - if they choose to do so.
