Honor Society students are recognized for their outstanding efforts. In order to be a member of the Honor Society, students must have all A's and B's (no C’s) in every class, no citizenship U's on the report card, and must maintain a 3.5 GPA.

Those students who are in the Honor Society for each of the first three quarters with at least a 3.5 GPA each quarter (all A’s and B’s, and no U’s or C’s), will be eligible to participate in an event to recognition their efforts at the end of the year.

AWARDS ASSEMBLIES

Students will be recognized for their academic progress at a Honor's Ceremony for Quarters 1 and 2. This is a by-invitation event for students.

At the end of the school year, students are also formally honored at Honors Awards Night. This is a by-invitation event for students who receive community awards as well as recognition for their academic progress during the year.

Chaboya Kudos

Students are acknowledged by teachers and staff for upholding the Chaboya 3 C's with “Kudos.” Students can turn in their “Kudos” to the front office, where every week the administration acknowledges individuals who made a great choice, took a chance, or made a positive change within their classrooms or community. School-wide “Kudo” acknowledgements are read during morning announcements, and are printed in the weekly newsletter.
