Send a Message... Stay Drug Free! This is the theme of the 2019's National Red Ribbon Week campaign. The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week.
Each year, National Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31. Silver Oak is proud to participate in our own version of Red Ribbon Week starting Monday, 10/21 through Friday, 10/25. We celebrate and observe this important initiative with a spirit week to educate and encourage our children to be drug-free, and encouraging them to always find support.
This year our daily themes for the week include:
MON, 10/21 - Red Ribbon Day - Pledge to be Drug-Free!... wear RED today!
TUES, 10/22 - Dress Alike Day - Friends don't let friends do drugs!... dress the same as your friends or class
WED, 10/23 - Sports Day - Let's team up against drugs!... wear your favorite team's apparel
THURS, 10/24 - PJ Day - Follow your dreams, and don't do drugs!... wear your PJ's to school
FRI, 10/25 - School Pride Day - Our school is too cool for drugs!... wear school colors (white, teal, black, gray)
