Dear Evergreen School District Community,
This afternoon, Santa Clara County and all surrounding Bay Area counties will be placed on a "Shelter-in-Place" as of 12:01 AM, March 17, 2020. Attached is the memorandum from the health department so that you have the most up to date information. The shelter in place is expected to go from March 17 through April 7. This extends the April 3rd closure that was sent out last week. Please note that things are fluid and it is highly possible that more changes in directives from the Department of Public Health and Santa Clara County Office of Education may come at any time.
For Evergreen School District, this means that we will modify office hours for school offices and administrative offices. School Offices will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and the District Offices will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. as well. We want to take every precaution necessary and ask that you please not come in unless you absolutely need something in person.
Please continue to stay informed by checking our district website and/or school websites for up to date information and resources. Grab and Go lunch service information and continuous learning online resources links can be accessed on the district and school websites. As of today, March 16, 2020, Spring Break will proceed as scheduled, from April 10 – 17.
