Upcoming School Consolidation Community Engagement Opportunities
The school consolidation process will be continuing throughout the months of January and February, with additional opportunities for community engagement:
- January 15 and 22: Superintendent's School Consolidation Advisory Committee Public Input Session 4-4:30 p.m., ESD Board Room (Educational Services Bldg.), 3188 Quimby Rd., San Jose
- January 16: Community Information Meeting, 6 p.m., Quimby Oak Gym, 3190 Quimby Rd., San Jose
- January 27: Board of Trustees Public Hearings, Quimby Oak Middle School Gymnasium, 6 p.m., 3190 Quimby Rd. San Jose
- February 3: Board of Trustees Public Hearings, Chaboya Middle School Gymnasium, 6 p.m., 3276 Cortona Rd. San Jose
- February 13: Board of Trustees to take action on school closures/consolidations recommended by the Superintendent's School Consolidation Advisory Committee, 6:30 p.m. Quimby Oak Middle School Gym, 3190 Quimby Road, San Jose. Trustee Corpus will be out of town and will be calling in to take action on the school consolidation agenda item. This will also be noted on the Board of Trustees' agenda
- February 25: Community Information Meeting, 6 p.m., Quimby Oak Middle School Library, 3190 Quimby Rd., San Jose.
