Hello Lobo Families,

The City of San Jose's Walk n' Roll Program continues to provide support to Quimby Oak. We have established safe neighborhood walking routes for students and we promote Walk Wednesdays every month! Students have been doing a great job walking and showing their pride. Our next Walk Wednesday is January 8th. Please encourage walking to school!

In collaboration with the City of San Jose and our ESD Superintendent's office, Quimby has secured a safe location for the installation of bike racks. We are working with our facilities team to have bike lanes painted for students on the lower campus and to map out safety lanes on and off campus for biking. We will launch in the new year! To support with this, the City will host safety assemblies for 7th and 8th graders on Monday, January 13th. Additionally, a bike helmet giveaway will take place in the Quimby Oak gym on Saturday, January 25th.

We are looking forward to this next adventure for Quimby Oak!
