Dear Parents,

Do you find Social Media & Technology confusing, scary, or overwhelming? Does your child have a cell phone? Are they connected online through gaming or texting apps, Instagram, or SnapChat? Has your child experienced cyberbullying or conflict with peers online? Parenting a child or teen in this digital age can be a challenge. Quimby has organized a valuable parent night to provide parents the tools to help children navigate appropriately through the digital world.

On TUESDAY, October 15th Quimby Oak Middle School will be offering a Parent Night in collaboration with #iCANHELP and our PTSA. Organization founder, educator, and online expert, Kim Karr will lead a discussion around technology and social media use and online safety.

WHO: Evergreen Middle School Parents

** This event is intended for parents only. Students at Quimby will be having an assembly presentation tailored for a 7th and 8th grade audience with Kim Karr and the #iCANHELP team. Evergreen parents from LeyVa Middle School and Chaboya Middle School have also been invited to join this parent night opportunity as teen social media use and digital safety are prevalent issues for all schools.
