We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break! We wanted to send a reminder email that California State Testing starts next week. We have attached the testing schedule as well as a few reminders to review with your child about testing best practices at home.

LCP Testing Schedule:

7th Grade:

May 7th- English Language Arts- CAT (Multiple Choice)

May 8th- English Language Arts- Performance Task (Written component)

May 14th- Math- CAT (Multiple Choice)

May 16th- Math- Performance Task (Written component)

8th Grade:

May 9th- English Language Arts- CAT (Multiple Choice)

May 10th- English Language Arts- Performance Task (Written component)

May 15th- Math- CAT (Multiple Choice)

May 17th- Math- Performance Task (Written component)

May 21st- Science- CAST (Multiple Choice)

May 22nd- Science- CAST (Multiple Choice)

Best Practices at Home:

- Your child should get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep the night before they test.

- Please make sure your child eats a well balanced breakfast the morning of each test.

- Make sure your child arrives to school on time each testing day.

- Monitor/limit screen time during the days/nights that they are testing.
