15 Questions about Mr. Mai

Hello our names are Lynda, Ashley, and Somya. We go to Katherine Smith Elementary School. We are in the fifth grade.

We asked some questions about Mr. Mai. Mr. Mai is a fourth and fifth grade teacher at Katherine Smith Elementary School.

Question 1. When you were young did you want to be a teacher? He responded, “ I didn’t want to be a teacher.” We asked, “ Why did you become a teacher then? ”He replied, “ I wanted to become a teacher because I wanted to be a positive role model for kids.”

Question 2. What do you do after work? He stated, “ I workout and play video games.”

Question 3. If you would be stuck at a age what would it be? He replied,“ I want to be 32 because I’m 32 now and I’m feeling pretty good.”

Question 4. Do you like meeting new people? He replied, “ No, but I wouldn’t mind meeting people that will make me a better person.”

Question 5. When you were small, what did you want to become? He stated, “ I wanted to be a firefighter.” We asked him, “Why did you want to become a firefighter and why didn’t you want to become a policeman.” He explained that, “ At the time, being a policeman wasn’t the most interesting.”

Question 6. What do you do when you are at home? He stated, “ I like to browse Reddit.”

Question 7. What sports are your favorite? He remarked, “My favorite sports are wrestling and football.” We questioned, “ Why?” He stated, “ I like them because they’re physical.”

Question 8. What do you like to do on your freetime at school? He responded, “ I like to do P.E with the students.”

Question 9. Where is your favorite place to travel? He stated, “ Japan is my favorite because I had the most fun there.”

Question 10. What would you do if you were the last person on Earth? He laughed saying, “ I would be one with the pets and animals.”

Question 11. What is your favorite T.V. show? He rejoiced, “ My favorite T.V. show is The Office. I like this T.V. show because if I were to have another job I would be thinking about working in an office.”

Question 12. What is your morning routine? He remarked, “I wake up, take out my phone for a few minutes, I brush my teeth, get my breakfast, change, and play some Clash Royale before I leave.”

Question 13. What is your favorite T.V. and movie genre? He stated, “ My favorite T.V. and movie genre is comedy.”

Question 14. Who inspires you the most? He answered, “ Tupac Shakur inspires me the most. Tupac’s saying, I’m not saying … I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world ”

Question 15. Do you like to cook? He responded, “ Yes, but I’m not very good.”
