Happy October Bulldogs! Fall is in the air, and we have an exciting month of spirit lined up for you LeyVa Bulldogs! First off, I would like to let you know where your spirit class stands in our spirit competition – it's a tight race (see below).

The winning spirit class, the class with the most points in May, gets to go to Santa Cruz with the Leadership students at the end of the school year! We are still very early in the game, therefore everyone is still in the running!, Just always remember to be spirited on Fridays and be sure to take any opportunity to earn spirit points for your class and your larger spirit team!

This Friday will be FANDOM FRIDAY which offers you a chance to earn spirit points while expressing your own unique interests. To earn points on Friday just wear something representing what or who you are a big fan of! For example: if you like Beyonce' you can wear a Beyonce' shirt or if you like Harry Potter you can wear a Harry Potter cape. You get the gist! We are open to DIY and makeshift items for any spirit day. We just want to see you making an effort to be spirited. Be sure to show off your FANDOM this FRIDAY!

Did you know that every Monday here at LeyVa is purple and gold day? There will be randomly selected surprise spirit count Mondays which will be announced during the morning announcements. If you are wearing purple and gold during one of those surprise announcements, your 1st period/block teacher will give you a mini bravo on the spot! If I were you, I would wear purple and gold every Monday to win a mini bravo every time!

While we are on the topic of BRAVOS, the Bravo Store will be open tomorrow at lunch in front of rm 11. In addition to exchanging bravos for snacks and LeyVa bulldog spirit prizes, for a limited time you can also purchase the yellow LeyVa spirit shirts at the store for only $10. These yellow shirts can be a part of your OOTD every Monday! We are down to the last of our inventory, so if you want one of these shirts be sure to bring money or bravos to room 11 to get one tomorrow while sizes last!
