Leadership Report 6/2/20

The last and final LeyVa spirit activity will take place on Friday, June 5th from 12:30-1pm. The game is called "Two Truths & a Lie" where each player will share two interesting things about themselves that are TRUE and also share one fictional thing mixed in. The other players will have to try to figure out which one is the lie. This is a great way to get to know one another, and also practice your acting skills. Come prepared to share! Zoom link and password will be emailed out on Friday morning.

Friday also kicks off the BULLDOG BINGO challenge. All LeyVa students will be given a bingo board with a wide variety of tasks. You are to try and check off each square and submit your completed board & evidence by Wednesday, June 10th to be entered to win a $100 Amazon e-gift card!

Speaking of gift cards, May is over which means we need to announce some winners from the May spirit drawings. Names of students & teacher who participated in spirit days and spirit activities were entered into a spirit drawing. The following winners were drawn...
  • The Spirit Day drawing winner is: Jocelyn Pedroza
  • The Spirit Activity drawing winner is: Elijah Ransom-Johnson
  • The Spirited Teacher drawing winner is: Mrs. Balistreri
CONGRATULATIONS to our winners! $20 Amazon e-gift cards will be emailed to you soon!

This has been the closing Leadership report of the school year. LeyVa Leadership would like to thank all of you bulldogs for staying positive and spirited during some of the most trying of times. Despite being sheltered in our own places, the connection between us has remained strong. We said it at the Welcome Back Rally and we will say it again...WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! Now more than ever, you should all be proud to be LeyVa Bulldogs. Wishing you all a wonderful end of the school year.

To all of the 8th graders, you will go down in history as the "LeyVa Middle School Quarantined CLASS OF 2020". We hope your time at LeyVa was filled with meaningful learning, fond memories, and lasting friendships. Your time in middle school was relatively short, but just remember...ONCE A BULLDOG, ALWAYS A BULLDOG! Good luck in high school.
