Greetings Bulldogs! Today we have a wonderful Wednesday in store for us here at LeyValand. Today at 12:30pm we have our annual SPIRIT RALLY! Each and every one of you should make sure to attend because you will earn spirit points for coming! Let's get 100% of our team in that webinar. The rally might be virtual this year, but it will still be jam packed with lots of bulldog spirit, fun, and friendly competition. You won't want to miss it!

Not only do we have the rally today, but this afternoon is BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT. The event will be online and follow a traditional middle school Back to School schedule with a chance for your parents to hear from our administrative team and each of your teachers. For the classroom "visits" you will need to participate with your parents. You will take them to each of the classes to hear presentations from each of your teachers by period or block. A word to the wise, some teachers give extra credit for coming to Back to School Night too!

Despite all the action, we did not forget to choose a spirit day for this week. This one is a classic that makes more sense than ever during distance learning. You literally can crawl out of bed and earn spirit points for your team because this Friday is PAJAMA DAY! Just when you thought showing spirit could not get any easier, IT DOES! Just note that it does need to be obvious that you are wearing pajamas. If the rep is iffy about whether or not you are wearing PJs you might not earn the points. Throw on your most stylish PJs and show them off on Pajama Day on Friday!

I hope to see all of you at the rally later today and at BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT! I will be back to count up all the spirited pajama-wearing bulldogs on Friday!
