Beyond the School Day

The district is working with a company named Advantage Communications. We will start with 90 students this year and grow the program in the coming years. We will have three teams representing each of our middle schools. The student participation will include 20 students at each of the middle schools and 10 additional sixth-grade students from the feeder schools. The process for recruiting students will include student auditions and will be outlined in a separate email. This program will require the involvement of three teachers who, with Advantage Communications Coaches, will co-coach students once per week. More information to come, but I wanted to frontload you for now.

Live Arts Zoom Webinars taught by experienced, professional artists/educators. These fun and engaging Arts lessons have been developed for specific grade levels and are designed to teach Arts skills and standards. Each lesson is 45 minutes in length.

Dance Is Universal! T.B.L. is an easy, structured and effective way to engage students in high energy dance instruction. The routines are fun, physically demanding, relevant and cover a wide variety of genres. Through specialized methodology students lock in and stay motivated.
